SPGL: Branding
The brief was to create a brand that reflects Sustainable Power Generation Ltd's (SPGL) offering, primarily that of renewable solar energy, but it was also noted that the company has future ambitions to move into wind energy.
Therefore any logo or brand marque that was to be created should reflect the power of the sun but could also reflect energy and/or wind power. The brand was to reflect and modern and friendly feel that is associated with renewable energy but also emphasis the professionalism and sound business sense of the company’s proposition to land owners.
A clean, friendly yet bold and professional look and feel is appropriate for SPGL. Note the copy used on the cover also reflects a warm and friendly tone in context while the typography itself is bold and modern.
