Mobile Soup Kitchen
The Mobile Soup Kitchen is exactly what it says it is. Located in Pretoria in South Africa here is a statement from C.M Engelbrecht, the Mobile Soup Kitchen’s foundation manager.
“We don’t give food based on religion, sex, sexual orientation, race, social status, health status or citizenship - we feed regardless, the only requirement we have is hunger. We need to know that our people will go to sleep with a full tummy and the physical strength to carry on another day.”
Of the three presented routes Option A was developed further. Option A: the 'S' for soup kitchen and is formed my overlapping two bowls each with a soup spoon created by the negative space. Option B: is a splash of soup making a heart shape. Option C: is soup dripping / pouring into the mouth of a mans face, again created by the negative space.
